The world’s highest and longest
glass-bottomed bridge has closed to visitors just two weeks after it
opened
The bridge in
China’s Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon opened to the public on August 20 but closed
yesterday after receiving an overwhelming number of visitors.
There have been no accidents and no problems with the bridge
itself, but it is thought the closure is due to efforts to update the
attraction facilities including ticket-booking, customer service and car parks.
