Data from a network of food banks, headquartered in Wiltshire, suggests cuts to welfare benefits has led to a rise in people turning to them for help. Researchers from the University of Oxford analysed food bank data from 259 local authorities between 2012 and last year and found a strong link between increased benefit sanctions and higher food bank use. Sanctions include benefits or payments being delayed, reduced, or even stopped. The Trussell Trust, based in Salisbury, is now calling for a "yellow card" warning system to be implemented which would give claimants 14 days to appeal before a financial sanction is imposed.

Suspect In Destruction Of Donald Trump’s Walk Of Fame Star Arrested

Jamie Otis is now in police custody and waiting to be formally booked at the Men’s Central jail in downtown L.A. The suspect in the early Wednesday morning destruction of Donald Trump’s Walk of Fame star was arrested by the LAPD sometime around 7 AM today, sources confirm. Otis had planned to hold a press conference at 9:30 AM this morning on Hollywood Blvd at the location of the already being repaired Trump star. Accompanied by his lawyer, Otis was then going to head over to the Hollywood Police station and turned himself in, he told Deadline last night. With damages of over $400, the felony vandalism charge could see Otis in jail for up to 3-years and paying out fines of over $10,000 if found guilty. Presidential candidate’s nearly decade old star was around $2,500. The Chamber, who administer the Walk of Fame for the city, quickly had a repair crew out in front of the Dolby Theatre yesterday working on getting the smashed star back in shape after Otis’ 5:45 AM attack on it. That process of repair will take about a week, Chamber boss Leron Gubler told Deadline on Wednesday.

Kevin Gates Found Guilty of Battery After Kicking Woman at Concert

Kevin Gates was found guilty to battery in Polk County, Florida, on Wednesday (Oct. 26) after he was seen kicking a female fan during a concert in the city of Lakeland last year. The judge sentenced Gates to 180 days in Polk County jail, with credit for any time served, and fines and court costs, WFLA reports. He was convicted by a jury of six women after one day of testimony. Miranda Dixon, 18, admitted to having tugged on Gates' pants during the concert at Rumor's Nite Club on Aug. 28, 2015. She said during the trail, "I was trying to get his attention for my friend." Dixon's friend Teremal Redding testified as well, saying she had asked Dixon to grab Gates to get his attention "because he is a famous rapper." She said that the entire front row had been grabbing at Gates and that the first time Dixon grabbed him, he kept performing, but the second time he got violent, kicking her with force. Gates' defense attorney Jose Baez cross-examined Redding about Dixon's injuries, pointing out that Redding had stayed for the rest of the show after her friend left following the incident. In a previous hearing, Gates admitted to kicking a fan during the show and used the Florida's "Stand Your Ground" law in attempt to have the charges dropped. "I kicked them, I wanted them off me," he said during the previous hearing. Rumor's Nightclub head of security Joe Hailey testified during the trial that Gates' security team had not made any special requests for additional security or any barricade between the stage and the crowd for the concert. He said there were about 20 security guards working that night and that there was room for Gates to back up on stage if he did not want to be touched.

Roc Nation CEO, Jay Z has reportedly bid $40M to acquire the right to buy the unreleased music of late rock icon Prince.
According to TMZ report,  Jayz flew Prince’s sister Tyka and her husband, Maurice Phillips to NYC to meet with him for further discussion on the $40M deal. However, it is also believed that Tyka who shares same parent with the late singer that died in April 2016 will have to get sign-off from all her half siblings before Jay Z can have full right to the deal.

The US Republican presidential candidate's star which was awarded to him in 2007 and located at 6801 Hollywood Blvd, was smashed up early today by one Jamie Otis, who took credit for the destruction. Otis posed as a construction worker to fool anyone walking past.
Smashing the embedded terrazzo and brass star to bits, he claims he intends to auction off the removed star to raise money for the women who have come forward to accuse Trump of sexually assaulting them over the decades. Los Angeles police are investigating the case.

Donald Trump has warned of a World War if Hillary Clinton is elected as president and her policies on ISIS,and the Syrian conflict are implemented.

Democratic Party U.S Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton revealed during the last presidential election debate that the U.S will create no-fly zones in Syrian airspace in order to combat ISIS and also allow for peace and normality to return to the already war-torn Syria and it's citizens. 

If a no-fly zone is implemented by the U.S on Syrian airspace and a Russian jet flies on the airspace, the U.S have the right to shoot it down, a move that could cause war between both nations and Trump on Tuesday warned that Hillary Clinton would surely cause a World War III if elected as president.

"What we should do is focus on ISIS. We should not be focusing on Syria," Trump told Reuters on Tuesday morning at his resort in Doral, Florida.

Fake army officer caught in Cross River State after defrauding victims of over N1 million

A man who claimed to be an army officer in Obudu for months has been arrested a few days ago after complaints from youths he had defrauded promising them admission into the Nigerian Defence Academy, NDA.

The alleged fake army officer identified as (Major Kola Elijah) is currently at the Obudu Police division for defrauding members of the public of money amounting to over a million naira. 

Some of those he defrauded include; Aweli Gabriel Lishiliniye N150, 000, Kashim Adeloye Ebenezer N406, 500, Abiabe Godwin Ugbe N210, 000, and Audor Peter Bekeh N335, 000.

The incident took the doctors three hours using a bolt cutter and a saw to set him free.

Trump threatens to sue women accusing him(Video)

Donald Trump on Saturday vowed to sue the women who have come forward to level allegations of sexual misconduct against them.

Trump said at Gettysburg, Pa. “Every woman lied when they came forward to hurt my campaign" "Total fabrication, the events never happened - never. All of these liars will be sued after the election is over."

He also tied the women to an undercover video that showed Democratic operatives discussing how to get Trump supporters riled up at his rallies.

"Just like we found out about these paid violent protesters, it was probably the DNC and the Clinton campaign that put forward these liars with their fabricated stories," he said.

"But we'll find out about their involvement at a later date through litigation. And I look so forward to doing that."

Trump last week threatened to sue the New York Times for reporting the accounts of two of the nearly dozen women who have leveled allegations against him. His lawyers sent the Times a letter demanding that they retract their "libelous" article.

Trump has not yet filed the promised lawsuit against the Times. A campaign spokesman on Saturday 
said Trump plans to sue the paper after the election, as he promised to do with his accusers Saturday.
